“LabelBase is a must-have for your label: every useful tool gathered in one place. The visual pipeline changed how we ship releases.”
Mike
Director, Bougie Records
LabelBase is the workspace where an independent label runs its whole day: demos, releases, contracts, royalties and artists, in one place instead of ten.
Running an independent label means juggling Discord for demos, Notion for planning, spreadsheets for splits and royalties, DocuSign for contracts and endless email threads with artists. Every tool holds part of the truth, and the label spends its time copying data between them.
LabelBase brings that work into a single workspace. A demo that comes in through a form becomes a release in the pipeline, the release carries its tracks, metadata and contracts, the contracts feed the splits, and the splits are what royalty statements are shared against. Artists and collaborators send their files and details through an intake link for each release.
Every feature connects to the rest of the label's data. If it would only add one more tab to keep up to date, we don't build it.
AI reads statements, tags tracks and cleans up demos. A person validates the result, and amounts paid to artists are always plain arithmetic.
What we build comes from the labels using LabelBase every day, and changes ship continuously. What we ship is listed in the public changelog.
Independent labels and their artists run their releases on LabelBase.
